Guardians water/ sediment sampling

We test the water and sediment in our rivers, bays, and shoreline to make sure they are clean and healthy. This includes checking for E. coli, a bacteria that can make people sick if found in high amounts. By doing these tests, we can: Keep our fishing, swimming, and harvesting areas safe. Clean water is essential for the health and wellbeing of our community. Healthy sediments support strong ecosystems, including fish and shellfish populations. Early detection of pollution allows for faster action to protect species, habitats, and public health. Clean water is important for our health, our traditions, and the future of our community.
